About
A Bit about Us
We are the Eastern CAN YETI. ok, so too much alphabet soup- what is a CAN and what is a YETI? Not what you think. CAN stands for Coordinated access network, which means a group of agencies that care about helping out the homeless in our region. YETI stands for Youth Engagement Team Initiative which means, a whole big group of agencies, community and schools that care about helping develop a system for educating everyone about the issues of homelessness and helping out homeless youth and preventing youth from becoming homeless in the first place. We are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all youth to have safe and stable housing and resources to live successfully in the community.
